In an interview during the most recent ABLE Games, Gavin expressed his initial nervousness about being paired with a stranger but emphasized how grateful he was for the experience that led to a great friendship. “I’m glad I did it, I’m glad this happened, it is a blessing, and I made a best friend out of it, so it’s definitely worth it,” expressed Gavin. Isaac, when asked about his excitement for the games, simply stated, “I get to go to every game with Gavin Olson.”
